Job Description

The leader in residence and citizenship planning with more than 30 offices globally, are working with GRS to recruit a Government Advisory Director to join their dynamic team in Limassol.  The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in business development and in managing high-profile and complex projects and must have excellent negotiation and communication skills.  If you are looking for an opportunity to join the market leader in residence and citizenship planning and be part of a motivating and energetic team, we look forward to receiving your CV for this Limassol based Government Advisory Director role.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strong relationships with the respective stakeholders and positively engage with them
  • Involved in business development activities and project management, resulting from successfully acquired government mandates
  • Create or maintain relationships and contacts with high-ranking government officials (e.g. heads of state, prime ministers, foreign affairs ministers, etc.), representatives of CBI / RBI related government units and external service providers
  • Work closely with the company’s Chairman and CEO, Members of the Executive Committee, Managing Partners and Directors and the Marketing Department and other group departments
  • Be responsible for business development tasks, particularly closing of contracts with governments, Project Management and Corporate Development (building the Government Advisory Practice)
  • Implement the Government Advisory Strategy
  • Strengthen existing and develop new government relationships
  • Identify Business Development and Project Opportunities
  • Close contracts with governments
  • Support and improve current government mandates
  • Develop innovative strategies to attract foreign direct investment for governments

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University degree holder from a reputable university
  • Business development track record with minimum 3 years managing complex and high-profile projects
  • At least 5 years’ experience in sales
  • Exhibited political and organizational agility
  • Strategic planning and vision
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills
  • Managing resources and leading project teams
  • Stakeholder management
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity and trust
  • Open to travel
